All about the Mankato Mama

I was born in Mankato, MN on January 30th 1990 at Immanuel St. Joseph’s hospital, hence why my name is Josephine. I am the youngest of five kids. My father who was a Radiation Oncologist, started the first Cancer center at St.Josephs and my mom was a stay at home mom. When I was six, we moved to Minneapolis. After my mother died, we moved back to Mankato and my dad remarried my step-mom Candice ( Gran-can.) I then attended the Catholic school in town, and graduated from Loyola Catholic School in 2008. I moved to Atchison, Ks and attended Benedictine college. I graduated with a Criminal Justice and Mass Communicaions degree. Upon graduating, I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and I worked for the state for four years. I worked in Human Services and For the Nebraska Games and Parks Commission. When I was living in Nebraska, I was blogging for Reel Camo girl, and this guy loved my article on bow-hunting. Little did I know that guy would become my husband . We now live outside of Mankato on ten acres with our two girls under two-Eden and Genevieve. We also live with our dog Maia, and our two outside kitties namedZeke and Boo Radley. It’s an animal house.
